Investing is only one piece of a full financial plan, yet somehow the investing often times seems to be the focal point for many people. When it comes to the term “investment advisor”, there seems to be more focus on the “investment” and less on the “advisor”. I believe that to be backwards.
If advisors spent more time focusing on understanding client behavior, and how the human brain makes decisions, it would make keeping clients on track much easier. I wrote about this in my latest blog post “The Financial Therapist”, linked below.
