The World Cup ended yesterday with France taking home the championship, and it got me thinking. I never really rooted THAT hard for the U.S. during previous World Cup’s because it’s obvious they’re not realistically going to win, but I still found myself significantly less interested in this World Cup with the U.S. not in the tournament. Even if your team isn’t going to win, it always helps having a horse in the race to pull for.
Here’s what I’ve been reading this morning:
‘What’s Killing Youth Soccer in America is Also Hurting Every Other Sport’ – Bob Cook – Forbes
‘Jack Vogel – Momentum in Theory, Momentum in Practice’ – Corey Hoffstein – Flirting With Models
‘Is Your Advisor a Fiduciary?’ – Peter Lazaroff
‘Lessons and Ideas from Benjamin Graham’ – Jason Zweig
‘A Midyear Bucket Portfolio Checkup’ – Christine Benz – Morningstar
ENJOY!
