Being just out of college as a ‘millennial’ can be very difficult for a lot of people.  Especially when traditional school systems do very little to prepare their students for the financial ‘real-world’.  Many people my age (23) are intimidated or turned off by the confusing topics surrounding the investment world and anything finance related.  It’s truly disappointing because this time in our life is a wonderful opportunity to start yourself on the right path for a financially sound life.  A number of articles I collected today deal with the ways ‘millennials’ are attempting to find financial literacy.

Here’s what I’ve been reading this morning:

‘Why Millennials Don’t Seek Out Advisors – And What You Can Do About It’ – Missy Pohlig – SEI

‘5 Worst Money Blunders Made by Millennials’ – Crissinda Ponder – Bankrate

‘Here’s the Average Net Worth of Millennials’ – Alicia Adamczyk – Money

‘Almost 40% of Millennials Are Making This Horrible Money Mistake’ – Martha C. White – Money

ENJOY!
