The 2nd quarter of 2016 ends today.  Just to look back, the S&P 500 opened for trading January 4, 2016 at 2,038.  Currently, it sits at 2,080.  With all the headlines that have popped up this year, the S&P has been essentially flat.  However, that’s not to say there hasn’t been a great deal of change going on under the surface of the market.  We’ve seen a resurgence in the energy sector and a number of other commodities as well.  It’s been an interesting first two quarters of the year, and there are still plenty of great articles to catch up on.
