As of this morning, General Electric is no longer a member of the Dow Jones Industrial Average.  The declining stock has been replaced by Walgreens.  GE had been in the Dow for over 100 years, and we talked about this and more in Ep. 217 of the Mullooly Asset Podcast last week.  You can listen to the episode here.

Here’s what I’ve been reading this morning:

‘Meet Walgreens: The Dow’s Newest Member’ – Paul La Monica – CNN Money

‘How to Chop Up Your Portfolio’ – Josh Brown – The Reformed Broker

’36 Obvious Investment Truths’ – Ben Carlson – A Wealth of Common Sense

‘Nobody Likes the Micros’ – The Gambler Bias

‘The Past, Present, & Future of ETFs w/ Eric Balchunas’ – Patrick O’Shaughnessy (PODCAST)

ENJOY!
