There’s been a big buzz about index funds over the last few years, but something everyday investors might not realize is all of the action that goes on underneath the surface of these indexes. Buying and holding an index fund might seem relatively “passive”, but don’t be fooled. There are LOTS of stocks being dropped and added to the indexes all the time. Just something to keep in mind that will help you understand your investments a little better.
