It was a tough weekend for the Green Bay Packers. They lost their most valuable player, Aaron Rodgers, to a broken collarbone. The injury completely reshapes the outlook for the team moving forward. It always amazes me how much impact one player can have on an NFL team. Being an investor, it seems foolish to put all of your eggs in one basket. Injuries happen all the time, and you would think teams would have some sort of backup plan to not suffer a serious drop-off in performance if one player goes down. I guess that’s one difference between an NFL roster and an investment portfolio. Learn a lesson from the Packers. Take a look at your portfolio, if your ‘Aaron Rodgers’ were to go down for the year, would you still be okay?
