Tim’s Top Links – 8/11/17

by | News

There are certainly no shortage of topics to talk about these days, but I’ll keep it market related.  Yesterday we saw the major indices have a collective down day.  A few weeks back, Tom posted about how the next 5% pullback would feel more like 20%, and I’m starting to think he’s right.  With the Dow dropping only almost 200 points yesterday, maybe 1% at most, the general tone of people around the markets was some serious doom and gloom.  I’m interested to see what happens over the next few days/weeks.

Here’s what I’ve been reading this morning:

‘The Constants’ – Charlie Bilello – Pension Partners

‘Why Broker-Dealers Launching Robo-Advisors Are Missing The #FinTech Point’ – Michael Kitces – Nerd’s Eye View

‘The Biggest Common Investment Errors’ – Ben Carlson – A Wealth Of Common Sense

‘Gold Rises Despite Fall In ETF Demand’ – Sumit Roy – ETF.com

‘TV’s Ad Apocalypse Is Getting Closer’ – Derek Thompson – The Atlantic

ENJOY!
