A couple times a week, the guys here at Mullooly Asset get together for a morning meeting. While talking a certain situation in the office, Brendan said “sometimes clients don’t understand they pay us for the QUALITY of our decisions, not the QUANTITY.” I couldn’t agree with a quote more. It’s so important to your business, if you’re a fee-only advisor, to stress to your clients that more trades does NOT equal being more aggressive or better returns. Just let that resonate for a little bit.
Here’s what I’ve been reading this morning:
‘The Topic Is Gold’ – Michael Batnick – The Irrelevant Investor
‘Ignore The Price, Remember The Dividends’ – Of Dollars And Data
‘Commodities Are Good For Traders, Bad For Investors’ – Ben Carlson – Bloomberg
‘Trick Question: How Is The Momentum Factor Performing YTD?’ – Wesley R. Gray – Alpha Architect
‘How This Man Was Able To Retire At The Age Of 33’ – Andrew Josuweit – Forbes
