One of the biggest things, as a 24 year old millennial, I struggle with on a daily basis is how to communicate to my friends the importance of saving money. Every single one of my friends complains that they have no money, yet they’re out at the bars 2-3 nights a week. Something doesn’t add up. Articles like the one below from Ben Carlson give people my age practical advice on how to intelligently save money. Even if you’re not a millennial, most of the advice is still relevant to all age groups.
Here’s what I’ve been reading this morning:
‘How To Save Money When You’re Young’ – Ben Carlson – A Wealth Of Common Sense
‘Ten Rules For Catching A Bottom’ – Michael Batnick – The Irrelevant Investor
‘Five Questions For Vanguard’s New President, Tim Buckley’ – Vanguard
‘Every Great Investment Hurts’ – Morgan Housel – Collaborative Fund
‘This Metric In Dire Need Of Context’ – Larry Swedroe – ETF.com
