Tim’s Top Links – 7/30/18

The NFL season hasn’t even started yet, and I’ve already had my first heart palpitation from the New York Jets.  Friday afternoon I saw that Sam Darnold was trending on Twitter, and my heart sank.

I feared for a torn ACL, or off-field scandal.  LUCKILY, it was just the media making too big of a deal about the fact that Darnold has yet to sign his contract.  While I do wish he would just sign already and get to camp, I don’t think it’s anything to worry about.  This post could potentially age VERY badly though.

Here’s what I’ve been reading this morning:

‘Four Reasons Why Carlos Beltran Would Make a Good Advisor’ – Tom Mullooly

‘Mean Reversion & the Placebo Effect’ – Ben Carlson – A Wealth of Common Sense

‘Measuring Process Diversification in Trend Following’ – Corey Hoffstein – Newfound Research

‘Stress Test’ – Adam M. Grossman – Humble Dollar

‘What Should You Do With Your Home Equity in Retirement?’ – Christine Benz – Morningstar
