The second half of the MLB season starts tonight, and I have mixed feelings about it. In another extremely disappointing year for the Mets, the only left motivation to watch the games is to see how the young talent develops, and possibly to see what kind of trades they can make at the trade deadline. I’m a huge fan of the sport of baseball, so I’ll continue to follow the league regardless of how the Mets are doing, but it’d be nice to have playoff aspirations more than once every decade.
