timThe NFL Draft is tonight.  For a handful of young athletes, their lifelong dreams will come true, and for Jets fans (me) another year of disappointment and underwhelming results begins tonight.  The NFL draft always brings to mind a few things about investing.  It serves as a nice reminder to do extensive research before making any decisions.  No NFL team would take their first round pick after not doing their research.  On the flip side, there’s always a certain amount of luck involved as well.  Some highly ranking prospects turn into busts, and some late-round draft picks (ie. Tom Brady) turn out to be the best players of all-time.  Sometimes you just never know.
