Another NFL season has come and gone, and another championship is under the New England Patriots belt.  This season it felt like there was a changing of the guard taking place with so many new, young players and teams wow-ing us every week, but when it’s all said and done it’s the old, boring Patriots with another ring.

An investing lesson that could be taken from this is that sometimes the best investments won’t be the flashy, hot new thing, but instead the boring, old ones that truck along year after year.

Here’s what I’ve been reading this morning:

‘The Futility of Market Timing’ – Drew Dickson – Albert Bridge Capital

‘The Economics of Owning a Home’ – Michael Batnick – The Irrelevant Investor

‘A Tax-Efficient Portfolio Makeover May Be Less Painful Than You Think’ – Christine Benz – Morningstar

‘Are Super Bowl Ads Worth the Money?’ – Ben Carlson – A Wealth of Common Sense

‘Investor Amnesia’ – Douglas Boneparth – Bone Fide Wealth

ENJOY!
