Spring Training for the MLB has begun, and I couldn’t be more excited. As a Mets fan, I love following the team’s journey down in Port St. Lucie, Florida. They have recently signed a new pitcher, Jason Vargas, to the squad. He plans to be the #3 starter, and this drastically changes the plans for the Mets rotation going into the year. Now it seems Zack Wheeler will start the year in the bullpen, barring any injuries during Spring Training. It’s similar to having a financial plan, or portfolio. When a new, better change is available to the plan, it becomes necessary to tweak the plan. Things are never set in stone, and over the long span of an MLB season, it looks like Vargas will ultimately be a better option.
