Welcome to December everybody!  It’s been one heck of a year, but we’re finally in the home stretch.  Some people really like to harp on the fact that December has historically been the best month for the markets.  However, if you’re banking on that statistic alone to “save” your account, you’re probably going to end up disappointed.  The stock market can’t read a calendar.  What you should be doing, is continuing to follow your strategy, do your research, and position yourself in the best places going forward regardless of what month it is.

Here’s what I’ve been reading this morning:

‘Common Mistakes of Momentum Investors’ – Gary Antonacci – Dual Momentum

‘Predicting Forward 60/40 Returns’ – EconomPic Data

‘How Low Can CalPERS Go?’ – Imogen Rose-Smith – Institutional Investor

‘Writing Lessons For A Better Life’ – Morgan Housel – Collaborative Fund

‘Is The Low Volatility Anomaly Driven By Lottery Demand?’ – Jack Vogel – Alpha Architect
