Fun fact of the day: Going back to 1953 and President Eisenhower, the Dow Jones Industrial Average has averaged +2.68% during the first 100 days of a NEW President. President Obama’s first 100 days saw a +2.76% rise in the Dow, and President Bush’s first 100 days saw a +1.39% rise in the Dow. Not something to hang your hat on, and we’ll have to see what happens with President Trump, but just a fun fact nonetheless. (Numbers courtesy of our friends at Dorsey Wright & Associates)
