In my latest interview for Living With Money (linked below), my guest wrapped up the chat by saying his favorite piece of advice was “control the controllables”.  This is a great reminder given what’s been going on in the market recently.  Yesterday alone we saw rather drastic volatility after the Fed announcement, but what the market does and what the Fed does are out of our control.

What we CAN control is how we react to it.  We can control the message we relay to clients, and the actions we take (or don’t take) with their financial plans/investment portfolios.  Keep that in mind as we near 2019.

Here’s what I’ve been reading this morning:

‘049 – Jason Lina, CFA, CFP® – Resource Planning Group’ – Living With Money

‘A History of Fed Rate Hikes’ – Ben Carlson – A Wealth of Common Sense

‘The Big Jump’ – Josh Brown – The Reformed Broker

‘Ep. 236: The Fed Impact’ – Mullooly Asset Podcast

‘Once More, Without Feeling’ – Cliff Asness – AQR

ENJOY!
