The big news yesterday here in New Jersey was the New York Giants benching their franchise quarterback, Eli Manning.  As a Jets fan, this feels like something the Jets would do, but not the Giants.  It truly is a shocking move, and after starting EVERY SINGLE GAME since 2004, you would think the Giants would have a little more respect for Manning.  When you’re coaching for your job though, it can make someone do desperate things.  I think that same thing holds true for some mutual fund/hedge fund managers as well.  Just something to keep in mind.
