We’re getting towards the end of the fantasy football season. This week is the last week of the regular season in MOST leagues. As usual, the best teams in each league are rarely the ones that looked the best on paper before the season starts. Each year there are players that come out of nowhere, and great players from the past that underperform.
Sound familiar? The ties between investing and fantasy sports are clear. Being able to predict the future of investments, or how a certain player is going to perform, is usually more difficult than people imagine.
Here’s what I’ve been reading this morning:
‘The Nifty Fifty’ – Michael Batnick – The Irrelevant Investor
‘The Prediction of a New Normal, Reviewed’ – John Rekenthaler – Morningstar
‘What You Can’t Buy’ – Nick Maggiulli – Of Dollars and Data
‘BBBe Careful’ – Phil Huber – BPs and Pieces
‘The Economics of Le’Veon Bell’s Gamble’ – Cullen Roche – Pragmatic Capitalism
ENJOY!
