Another year of New York Mets baseball ended on Sunday, and this one hurt a little more than usual. Expectations couldn’t have been higher, and results really couldn’t have been lower. Between the injuries to almost every single player, and just poor performances from the healthy players, it was a season to forget. Being a lifetime Mets fan, however, I should have known better. Luckily, going into next season, expectations should be pretty much back in line with the usual Mets season: low. Let’s get excited for some postseason baseball!
