It was said yesterday by Mets GM, Sandy Alderson, that outfielder Michael Conforto should be “ready” by the beginning of May.  What he will be “ready” for remains to be seen.  Ready for MLB action? Ready to “resume baseball activities”? Ready to start a rehab stint?  After seeing the injury to Conforto last year, I still remain skeptical that he will contribute much to the team in 2018.  I guess that makes the Jay Bruce signing much more important.  Anyway, enough about the Mets.
