A few weeks ago, October 17th, we lost one of our close high school friends Kyle Janeczek.  Kyle was in med school up at Dartmouth and their newspaper, The Dartmouth, released a beautiful article remembering and honoring Kyle’s life.

Kyle was the best at making you feel important.  His ability to connect with literally anybody was borderline magical.  He truly cared about everybody that he talked to, and that’s very rare in today’s society.  So many times we’re wrapped up in our own world and our own problems that we forget to connect with others and ask how they’re doing.

As an advisor, and just as a person, I plan to never forget Kyle by actively trying to engage with, and be genuinely interested in, as many people as possible.  Especially if they are clients.  As advisors, we should all follow his lead and remember to make our clients feel important and heard every day.

The only link I have for today is The Dartmouth article remembering our close friend.

Here’s what I’ve been reading this morning:

‘Kyle Janeczek Remembered For Ability to Connect With Others’ – Abby Mihaly – The Dartmouth

ENJOY!
