Bob Farrell’s Investing Rules Video Part I

by | Asset Management, Videos

Never heard of Bob Farrell before? This video is for you then because all investors should know Bob Farrell’s investing rules. Tom and Brendan discuss some background on Farrell and go over the first half (1-5) of his rules in this week’s Mullooly Asset Management video.

Farrell learned fundamental analysis under Benjamin Graham and David Dodd at Columbia University. He served as Merrill Lynch’s chief stock market analyst for over thirty years. Through those many years he found that technical analysis was not to be ignored. Fundamentally sound stocks may not always be the best investment decision. Technical aspects must be taken into account as well.

If you’d like a list of Bob Farrell’s investing rules, you can find one here. Tom and Brendan give their thoughts on rules 1-5 in this week’s video. They’ll be back to analyze the rest of these rules next week!
