The NFL draft is coming up, and team executives are certainly very busy doing their in-depth research of which player to choose.  This ties yet another connection to the world of investing.  To me, this is a similar process to an investor choosing which securities warrant a place in their account.  These would be more similar to long-term positions instead of day trades.  NFL executives, after all, aren’t looking for a short term fix for the their organization.  They are looking for the next long-term cornerstone of their franchise.  It’s always interesting to see how some draft picks shake out.
