I’ve been seeing a lot of ‘holiday shopping hacks’ and tricks to spend less money this holiday season.  They all seem useful, but all sort of have the same underlying message.  The main “hacks” that I see for people are to 1) plan ahead and 2) pay attention.

Not paying attention to your personal finances is the best way to lose control of them.

Here’s what I’ve been reading this morning:

‘A Case for Long-Term Optimism – Words Matter’ – Ashby Daniels – Retirement Field Guide

‘Ep. 022: Steaks and Sales Pitches’ – Reversion to the Mean (PODCAST)

‘Nobody Cares’ – Fervent Finance

‘What I Learned on Internet Break’ – Blair duQuesnay – The Belle Curve

‘How To Use Behavioral Finance in Asset Management, Part I’ – Barry Ritholtz – The Big Picture

ENJOY!
