Stanley Fischer is the Vice Chairman of the Federal Rserve  under Janet Yellen.

Fischer is no slouch – he was recently the Governor of the Bank of Israel.  Previously, Fischer was first Deputy Managing Director of the IMF.  After the IMF, he served as Vice-Chairman of a little place called Citigroup. Fischer served as the World Bank Chief Economist.  Fischer was a Professor at the University of Chicago and also at MIT.  Oh, and he happened to be “Thesis Advisor” (way back when) to two guys named Ben Bernanke and Mario Draghi.
