2015 was the best year on recent record for hotels. By comparison, 2009 was the worst year since the Depression.
And now 2016 has been also been a great year for hotel business. While hotel daily rates have increased slightly over the past year (2015), the occupancy has stayed high. This year’s numbers have not surpassed 2015, but they are staying in line with them.
